 "Great bouncer" 2010-01-17
By L. Olson (USA)
Overall this is a great bouncer. We bought it used but even at full price (~$35) I would consider this a good buy. Here are some pros and cons:

Pro:

-great price, cheaper than others

-vibrates, some out there do not, this is a great feature (vibration is just right, not too strong as I've read in other reviews)

-toy bar is removable

-battery is easy to replace (single DD battery) - also lasts a long time

-headrest is removable/washable

-pattern is super cute - although now I see "green meadows" as a pattern and think that is much cuter

Con:

-legs on bouncer are a tripping hazard (only for it seems, not for my husband) - it appears they are similar to legs on most bouncers though

-music from frog is very "high-pitched" and can get a bit annoying

"Good for Little Ones, Needs a Few Improvements" 2010-01-16
By Evan's Mum (SD, CA)
This bouncer was absolutely essential when my son was a newborn. The vibrations were great, and he loved the soft bounce made by a nudge from my husband or me. Unfortunately, he is outgrowing this at just around 15.5 lbs and 26 inches. The 3 point harness is just too short, and my guy is not big for his age (<30th percentile). In addition, now that he kicks a lot, he slams his heels on the front metal bar and vibration unit. It makes a hard thump/clank, and we worry about him hurting his feet.

Pros:

- great for newborns through 3-4 months

- good vibration

- very easy to remove cover and machine wash

- cute colors

- like that the toy bar is removable

Cons:

- straps too short, even when fully extended

- music is nothing special

- front bar too hard/short

Would I buy again? Yes. For the price it is a good bouncer.

"A must have for newborn" 2009-09-03
By Texas Mommy (Houston, TX)
Bouncers are a must-have for any new parent. They are the babysitter when you need to go the bathroom or answer the door or just give your tired arm a rest. We searched a while before we found a bouncer that we liked. The Hoppy Days bouncer was a decent price and had a pattern that could be used for boy or girl. We have left it on several times, but it seems to handle that well. We have had it 4 months and changed the battery twice. Not bad considering we tend to forget that its on.

Pros:

-perfect for newborn

-bounces well with foot easily

-head rest to support the wabbly head of a baby

-easy to move

COns:

-If your baby is long, they will grow out of it quickly and could hurt back of ankle on the plastic power switch area

-the frog hangs kind of low in the front of your child's face

-child slides down as he bounces or wiggles *USE THE HARNESS!*

Our little boy is 4 months and pretty tall and heavy for his age(28 inches/17+ lbs). We still use the bouncer when we need our hands free even though he can kick the switch plate at the front. I just wut a blanket under him to keep him from kicking it too hard.

Over all we were happy with it.

 "My baby likes it" 2009-08-07

Though the straps are little short that's why i'm giving it four stars(mainly it's because my baby is bigger than average babies). Overall, it's worth to have it.

 "Baby loves it" 2009-06-27

We bought this bouncer because of the neck support and it was one of the less expensive models. My baby is about to be 3 months and she loves it. The 2nd time I put her in the seat she fell asleep before I'd even stood up. Sometimes she likes the vibrations, sometimes she doesn't. I've read a lot of reviews in which parents complain that the baby can't reach the toys to play with them. For one, it's probably a good thing lest she/he accidentally pull down the toy bar. But another complaint is that the frog only plays a short snippet of music and it can't be activated by the baby just bouncing. I solved this problem by attaching ring-a-links (not expensive) and a little barbell shaped rattle toy to the frogs pull so she can activate the song herself. She figured out how to grab the barbell and with the motions of her arm, she'll play the song. Sometimes I take the toy bar off entirely and she can just sit and look around without my having to hold her 24 hours a day. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the $50+ models, but for something she's not going to use for a long time, it's not going to break the bank.
