 "Excellent service" 2009-10-01

I ordered this as a baby gift for my sister, and it somehow came two days later! I have no idea how the store did it, but they sure were happy to get it so soon! And the price with shipping was less than driving over to Target to pick it up. Her baby loves the swing, and the small size is perfect for her city home. Highly recommended product and store.

 "Great product." 2009-06-24

This swing is a great buy. We received it as a gift when our first was born. We already had a big swing, so I wondered how much use we would get out of it! The answer is...a TON! The size is great, I keep it in the living room because it takes up less space and I keep the big swing in the bedroom. It runs FOREVER on 3 C batteries. The music is a bit annoying to me, but the kids seem to like it. The "mobile" was in the way and annoying so I ripped it off and I am much happier with it now! It folds up nicely and travels well!

My baby sleeps in this swing all night. Our crib has still not arrived and she does not like the bassinet. We put the swing on a low speed and we are able to get an 8 week old to sleep 6 hours straight

 "Dangerous!" 2009-05-29

I was under the impression that there was a recall on this product. I sent ours back after our 2 month old son nearly fell out. I realize they always say "never leave infant unattended", but it didn't take very long for our son to scoot himself back in the seat causing it to be top heavy and nearly dump him out head first. Because he was very active in his pushing and squirming, I didn't want to take a chance on this happening again and risk the inevitable backflip onto the tile floor. Fisher-

price was good about taking it back and refundung my money. Needless to say, they were very concerned about the possible safety hazzard. Within weeks we received a recall notice on this very swing (even though ours was returned). Parents beware!

"Think about this before you buy it..." 2009-04-26

I bought this swing when my daughter was 3 months old. We were traveling and I knew I couldn't bring our big swing with us. But being gone 10 days I didn't know what I was going to do - this swing was a lifesaver at first!!! She was 3 months old (about 12 or so pounds) had good neck control and loved swinging. It worked great...but she looked so tiny in it! We used it on the go then as the main swing and at home placed it on the 2nd floor for a secondary swing - worked great. HOWEVER...we traveled again when she was nearly 6 months old and while the swing works great and the motor doesn't even have to be on the highest setting (5). I can no longer place her in it - its just NOT safe. She was fussing so normally I would put her in the big swing and she'd calm right down...I put her in this swing and she stretched out so her feet were at the bottom (metal area that is covered) which gave her just enough umph to wiggle...and her head got went off the swing right in between the part where the swing attaches to the base. Had I not been there watching her and the swing kept moving she could have been SERIOUSLY injured as her neck would have been between the two parts moving and smoosh. :( Do I recommend this swing? If you have nothing else to get and need something in a pinch for an itty bitty perhaps. BUT I'd say you have to absolutely watch your little one and when they show signs of movement remove them from the swing and put it away. THat means you don't get much use out of a 60-70$ item. Ways this swing could be better? In stead of a 3 point harness system it could have a 5 point harness system over the shoulders perhaps preventing the children from having the ability to move as much.
