This mobile is really cute. The music and nature sounds are really relaxing and the light on the canopy is great also.
We got this for our son when he was around 5 weeks old and although it definitley would grab his attention for a couple of minutes - I would not say that it put him to sleep. Now he is 11 weeks and he looks at it with a lot more interest and sometimes even "talks" to it - but again, it does not put him to sleep unless he is already really tired..
The only thing that I wish was that the animals were in bolder colors so that he would probably enjoy it more. The pastels are still a bit blurry at this age so it would have been better if they were white/black/red.
Overall a good product and will probably serve us for a long time!

My daughter really enjoys watching this mobile. I like how I have the option of having just the music, the music and the mobile spinning, or also adding in the projection on the canopy. The projection is varied and fun to watch. There are multiple music and sound effect selections, and they are all of good quality and relaxing. The volume is adjustable. I like how when the timer is up (I think 20 minutes, which is perfect for us) it doesn't just shut down all at once. First the projection goes off, then a minute later the mobile stops spinning, then a minute later the music fades out. I've used other mobiles that suddenly stop, which caused my baby to wake up. It was also easy to mount the mobile at several areas on our crib and "Pack 'n Play".

This mobile is one of the best available on the market. The projecting cartoon is great and our baby loves it. Initially, when our baby boy was 2 months old, the mobile was just an entertainment. My wife was able to leave baby for 30 minutes and he was totally occupied watching the cartoon. Now, when our son is 6 months old, the mobile is a part of routine helping him to fall asleep for the nap.
The mobile has 3 nice soothing tunes: melodies, nature sounds and the heartbeat. All working perfectly well, especially the heartbeat and melodies. You can turn off projection and rotation and leave just sound which is also great. The remote control is also very useful since you don't have to approach to the crib to turn the mobile on or off. Four D size batteries last for approximately 2-3 months with everyday use of about 2 hour.
This mobile is a MUST HAVE item for your baby or will be a great gift for expecting parents.

I bought this about 3 months ago and my son loves it. The music is smooth and gentle and we always play this while putting him to bed.
Pros: Three different music (we only use two of them), the rotating toys at the top is attention grabbing for the babies and keeps them engaged and entertained.
Cons: On/off switch for the music not easily accessible. Battery compartment has two screws that needs to be removed and put back on everytime we change the battery. The secondary securing mechanism could be improved

When i got this i opened it right away and placed it in the crib. Over all a great product. It has great sounds and love the remote feature. The only thing that was alittle bad is the projector. The animals get in the way as they spin but other than that over all a wounderful product with fun bright colors and cute Animals!
