This grow-with-me walker is perfect for helping early walkers build confidence. And once your toddler is ready to take off, it easily converts to a pull-along wagon. The best part is that all along the way, there are loads of fun activities built right in.

Activities include big spinning beads and a clicking dial, a roller ball to spin, a jingle ball to bat and colorful pages with friendly characters to flip. Baby can sort three colorful shapes and drop them through the lift-up door. The sturdy handle has a textured grip for pushing or pulling, and lots of room for favorite toys inside.  "not for babies who can't walk or stand alone yet" 2010-01-25
By Muriel Cheng (Seattle, WA USA)
I agree with the previous poster that the wheels spin too fast. The product seems too light and when my baby tries to grab for the handle, the walker tips or flies across the room. This only discourages my son. Our only solution to this is to hold the walker still while he is grabbing the handle and pulling up to stand and then walking along behind him holding on to the base of the walker to keep it from moving too fast. And all this must be done on carpet (even though the product description says it works better on hard flooring). On our hardwood flooring, the walker just slides across the floor.

However, I feel that the activity center in the front of the walker is very amusing for my baby. He seems to like it more than walking in it. The music and lights vome on when you put a ball into the hole encourages him to keep practicing his motor skills. I am disappointed that the shape sorter does not make any noise when the baby puts it in the correct shape though.

Anyway, we purchased this to help and encourage our baby to walk but it has only turned into another sit down toy. I am still looking for a walker that works for babies who are learning to walk. This product is more for babies who already are walking or at least standing alone.

"Disappointed with the wagon function" 2009-11-12
By Christi Clark (Hollister, CA)
We got two of these for my twins when they were 11 months old. I actually picked them up at Wally World the day after Thanksgiving for $10 each. They've been playing with them for a solid 10 months at this point, so they are very durable. They put stuff in the shape sorter part and race through the house laughing the whole way. I had the bright idea to turn it into a wagon today and I'm seriously disappointed. I actually got online to see if I was missing something. The handle sits on the floor! They can pick up the handle without a problem, but since I changed it, they've stopped playing with the toy.

"WALKING EARLY BECAUSE OF THIS TOY!" 2009-08-24
By Andrea Vanderpol (Folsom, Ca. USA)
Gave it to my daughter at 7 months... by 10 months she was walking on her own!! This is a very cool toy... if you are NOT one of those super OVER protective parents that will not let their kid LEARN, then this is an awesome to to pick up for your kid! My daughter fell a couple times on her bottom, but hey, she learned to walk FAST. She just turned 11 months now, and is running all over the place. THANKS FISHER PRICE! :)

 "Good for Older Walkers" 2009-03-14
By A. Dayley (All Over, USA)
There is a definite gray area for this toy. It's not all good or bad. My son got this for Christmas when he was 8 months old and, frankly, I had t keep it out of his reach until he was a batter stander/walker, etc. Before he could get up on his own he would pull this over on himself and fall down, or try to lean on it and it would move too fast and get away from him making him fall on his face. He loved the toys on the front, but he couldn't resist trying to pull himself up on it and it just came to be more a pain than a pleasure. Somehow even when I made it into the wagon he would back himself in the head or something.

However, now that he is standing and walking all on his own at 11 months, we have busted the walker back out again and all is well. He loves the toys on the front, he is learning with the shape sorter, he walks to it from across the room and then turns around and brings it back. He's not coordinated enough yet to manage it when it runs into something, but he's getting there. It's great for older, more stable babies, but until then I wouldn't bother.
