By Mom of 2: Wyatt , my son in Heaven & Danika, my daughter on earth. (St. Louis, MO)
So I narrowed the potty choices down to 3 different potties. Fisher Price Princess Potty, Fisher Price Cheer For Me Potty, and the Fisher Price Frog Potty. I went to a local Walmart store and found all 3. The Princess Potty was already open so I was able to set it up on the floor to see how big it was and even let my 2 and a half year old daughter sit on it. It was great, cute, and my daughter liked it, but I already have a potty that sits on the big potty and already have a step stool so I really didn't need that one, plus the basin/bucket to hold the contents is VERY small. I loved the height of this potty and that it was fairly lightweight yet sturdy and that the back rest actually stayed up. The Cheer For Me Potty was about the same as the Princess Potty but with more bells and whistles (toilet paper holder, flusher, etc) and also more than twice the price of the frog potty and about 10 bucks more than the Princess Potty.
I really didn't need all the enticement to go potty since she's been peeing/pooping on the big potty and on her Fisher Price On the Go travel potty for about a year now. The reason I was looking for another potty was to keep her out of the bathroom after my bathroom had been "T.P.'d" several times, and now that she is used to her travel potty (which we LOVE by the way) and it was a little too difficult for every day use (GREAT for travel/outings tho), I want to keep it in the car. Months and months ago, she had seen the frog potty and was very upset when we didn't leave with it. I thought it was geared more towards younger babies so I didn't even look twice at it, well, maybe I did, but for the oh so cute factor!!
I'm picky about potties - I want it to be easy to clean. Frog Potty IS very easy to dump out (just lift it off and dump, that's it) and clean. One huge issue I kept seeing in other potties was that the basin/bucket would be flush with the surrounding seat so if a little rogue urine got on the seat part, it could get elsewhere through the crack between basin/seat. Even the ones wit ha seat top completely over the basin, urine can still get under the seat, meaning more to clean. I wanted a seat that wouldn't do that. The Frog Potty is one piece on the top with a built in urine guard. Any spraying pee will only get on that one piece. My 2.5 year old daughter has only had this potty 2 days now and she already lifted it up after using it, carried it carefully to the bathroom, was even able to lift the toilet lid on her own, and dump the contents in, all by herself!
The bucket/basin part of this potty is large enough for all kids urine, however, I wonder if it could fit a fairly decent sized poopie without hitting the bottom before it's out of the kids' hiney. So far, this hasn't been a problem, but I did figure out a trick if that were a problem! If you lift out the pink (or blue) basin, there is nothing underneath - therefore, to extend the life of this potty, you could easily fit a 1 gallon ice cream bucket underneath the frog and it perfectly fits around the hole that the basin sits in. (and kiddo should still be comfy on the potty even without the pink/blue basin insert) Yay! Yes, You'd have to clean the inside ring of the frog potty, but it's so simply designed that it would be very easy! And still easy to clean - lift up the frog, grab bucket, dump, and clean - woohoo!
This frog stays put and is very sturdy - I can see that it might slide around a little on hardwood/tile/linoleum, but get some grippies for the bottom or just toss a rug under it and it's perfect!
The backrest is a great height.
My 2.5 year old daughter is 35 1/4 inches tall and weighs 29 pounds and while this potty is lower than some, she's still very comfortable on it. (See picture)
The Pink/green version's colors are a lot more subtle than the Blue/green version where the green is a vibrant green. The pink/green version's green is more of a spring green. Both are pretty and I had a hard time deciding which color!!
So far, we love the simplicity, cute factor, and comfort at a fraction of the price of other potties!!!

I bought this potty after having problems with the one we were using. We have another potty with all kinds of features, but the pee shield for boys on that one detaches and our son kept playing with it. Pretty soon that shield would just pop off as soon as he tried to sit down, and there was pee on it and all over. I wanted to find a potty that wouldn't have this issue, and this one seemed like a good one to try. Our son loves it, and I think it's the perfect solution. I love the Fisher-Price precious planet potty more than the other seat with all the extras because this one is so easy to clean and use. My son has no problem getting on and off it, and enjoys using it. (He's on the short side, too - only 33" tall with short legs.) I LOVE the one-piece seat/bowl/shield because it is absolutely a breeze to clean up and there's no chance of having any spray issues. My son loves the cute froggy design.
Seriously, why spend more on extra features that just add more hassles? This one is fun, functional, and easy to use. I love it, my son loves it, and I think especially for boys it's an awesome design.

I got this for my son when he turned 1... mostly because he liked it (even though he had no idea what it was...). He's been sitting on it a couple times a day, but when he gets up he tends to take the whole 'bowl' part with him. He also has a little trouble getting on the potty by himself. I think I'll have to get something that will work better for a smaller kid for a while :) When a friend's 3-year-old used it, she liked it, and thankfully she was tall and skinny enough that the bowl didn't come off when she was done!

After reading the reviews of many potty seats, I decided to buy this frog potty. My son is a big 2 year old and wouldn't fit on just any potty. He is over 38 1/2 inches tall and weighs about 37 pounds. This potty is simply perfect. It is easy for him to sit on as well as not worry about any splashes on the floor. The eyes on the frog are high enough to cover any mistakes a boy may normally have on a standard potty. He even told grandma that she must get a frog for her house. Within a week or so of having the frog in our home, he is already going on his own to the potty. Thanks again for making my potty training days a whole lot easier!!!

My girls like this potty and so do I. It is easy to keep clean. It's cheap. It's cute. It's green, though the green is different on the pink and blue models so if you buy both they won't match. The issue of the front causing kids to spread their legs too far is simply a little challenge that my girls mastered on the first day--no big deal.
