Tumble Bug is a drop-through toy that introduces brand-new ball action to your baby. Your little one can feed Tumble Bug three "Rounds" and then watch them tumble down from side-to-side across his body. As the Rounds tumble, the Bug's hands wave to your baby while one of five musical tunes plays. The Rounds then randomly roll out of the Bug and back into your baby's hands. The three bug-themed Rounds include a lady bug, a butterfly and bumble bee - each with fluttering action. Tumble Bug measures 2' tall. Requires 2 button (LR44) batteries (included).

 "Cute toy" 2006-07-13
By Irish Erin (Southern California)
I purchased this toy because I didnt want to spend $40 for the Drop and Roll Dino (which I really wanted) if my 9-month old didn't like it. She likes it, but its not her favorite toy. I showed her how to put the balls in the mouth twice, and she is a pro now. Other reviewers have said it falls over easily, but it stands up better than I expected. It is very lightweight plastic, but my daughter has yet to hurt herself on it, and she's constantly knocking it over (on purpose and accidentally). The one annoying thing about is the giggle sound only is activated on the top arm. I wish it was on all three. I think its good for the price, but since she's not that into it, I'm glad I didnt spend the money on the dino.

my son got this as a gift at about 6 month old and it took him a while to figure it out and now that he has figured it out he loves it, lol he is so proud of himself when he puts the balls in the bugs mouth. Also he sticks anything in the balls mouth lol his stacking rings anything that will fit goes into that bug, and it still hasnt broken and its six months later. I say def worth the buy!

 "Educational toy" 2006-01-16

My daughter is 11 months old and loves this toy. She does not play with it for long periods of time but I don't expect her to. She is just under one years old and doesn't have a great attention span yet, but she quickly learned how to put the balls in the mouth to hear the music and watch it roll. This toy is great for motor skills development and problem solving at this age. It is also a good idea for crawlers or walkers as they have to chase the balls down and bring it back to the toy.

The only problem with this toy, it doesn't stay standing very well on carpet.

"Ok Toy Not His best by far.." 2006-01-02
By Kazzabear (Australia)
My son got this for Christmas he is 8.5mths old.. he figured out how to work it straight away.. he did keep putting the balls in but i would say it will only entertain him for about 10mins or so.. i think the laugh and learn range of toys give him much greater entertainment.
