"a WONDERFUL mobile for baies under 10 months" 2009-05-28
By Audrey AS (Boston, MA, USA and Paris, France)
My daughter has been enjoying this mobile for months. She is now 11m onths, and I had to take the mobile out of the bed because she kept trying to pull it (the mobile itself and not only the hanging puppies). The only minuses I have about this product is 1) the dim yellow light of te stars and moon on the wall (although at some point it is better than a bright light if you have a baby that needs darkness to sleep); and 2) it doesn't convert to a "music-only device", i.e. the upper part doesn't come out (or I have missed the point, and of course after 11months I don't have the user manual any more). So I am now looking for a music and light "mobile" that wouldn't have the upper/hanging part. However, it is difficult to find one that has the same sweet music (Mozart, Bethoven and I forgot the 3rd one) with the soft light that lights the bed that can be turned on if needed (for a few minutes).

But I love it, it is a great mobile from birth to about 11 months). I also had the tiny love mobile for my first baby, but this one is much better.

 "WAy to slow!" 2008-12-15
By Christopher Morris-page
This mobile creeps so slow its annoying and hard to keep baby attention, I also think their should be a setting so you can keep it going as long as you want, when it stops before baby is totally passed out and you have to restart it makes sleep time longer!

"Very cute... but please make it shut up!" 2008-11-15

The little plush animals are much cuter in person than they are in pictures. Once you see it in motion, it's really nice. I particularly like that the stars move at a different speed than the other characters.

But the tinny, unpleasant music that comes out of it! Please make it stop!

If you want it to move, you have to put up with the music. If you want the lights projected onto the ceiling, you have to put up with the music. If you want the music... well, that's your business.

Why couldn't there have been settings for "Motion, no music?" "Lights, no music?" and "Lights and motion, no music?" I gave it four stars, but it was a wrench because they didn't at least include a mute button.

When the time comes to introduce baby to Bach, Beethoven and Mozart, I'll put on a CD and introduce her to good quality sound too. When the time comes to introdu... no, come to think of it the time will never come to introduce her to that other song.

I may just have to dissect it and clip the speaker wire.

"WONDERFUL ADDITION TO THE NURSERY" 2008-09-20
By Stacy L Messer
My mother bought this mobile for her grandson. He is only 10 weeks old and he simply loves it. He wasn't interested in too many other toys, but he will lay and stare at this mobile for a long time. He goes to sleep with it every night. I also turn it on while I'm in the room changing him and it distracts from the cold baby wipes. The different songs are wonderful, and the mobile mechanics aren't loud at all. (I heard that in some mobiles you can't hear the music over the turning of the mobile). The stars are only one color, but they show up nicely right above his crib. The room does have to be really dark.

The only problem I've had is sometimes the remote will turn the mobile on or off and sometimes it won't. Haven't quite figured it out. Also, it's too bad that the remote doesn't turn on the night light. By the time I creep over to his crib and turn it on, I sometimes wake him up.
