My son uses this to fall back asleep several times a night. He LOVES his "birdie show."

"So cute! Wonderful! Can I have another one please?" 2008-04-12
By A. McClellan (Houston, TX)
My son has loved this soother since he was born. He loves it more and more the older he gets. Now he has moved into his "big boy bed" and still wants to have is close by - so we attached it to the safety guardrail that we installed at his bed. He uses it when he wakes in the night (if he does) and sometimes (usualy) he wants it on when we out him to bed so he caan watch and listen to it while he settles into sleep. He won't be wanting to give up his soother anytime soon. To my dismay - these cute soothers have been discontinued so I will have a tough time getting more of them for future siblings. A few people have mentioned the grinding noise that the soother makes -- well the grinding noise that the soother makes is actually soothing and I love it - it is just white noise really. We love this product!

 "The Best Crib Toy/Soother!" 2007-12-01

I have had this since my two-year-old was an infant, and he has always loved it. When he was tiny baby and going to sleep on his back, he loved the ceiling lights, which he could see comfortably without having to twist his neck. Now that he's older, he still loves to go to sleep with just the music and the sound of the birds chirping. He still turns it on in the middle of the night if we wakes up, and then goes right back to sleep on his own!

"My son loves this toy" 2007-10-31

The music options are great; not just one song.

The light projection is entertaining for my son.

The noise as the birds go round is a little much, but it bothers me more than my son.

To tell you what a hit this is and how much my son loves (& depends upon) it...I awoke one evening at 2 AM to random house noise. While trying to fall back asleep, I could hear music. While I freaked out a little at first, I got up and went to my son's room to find the item on and my son fast asleep. I am happy to know that my son can find ways to soothe himself back to sleep.

In the morning he will turn this on while he plays until I get up. It's great. I know that the Ocean's Wonder is popular, but I want to let you know that this works just as well!

My only complaint (not enough to lower my rating) is that I have to take it off the crib to change the batteries. Very minor pet peeve.

 "My Son LOVES his!" 2007-09-27
By M. Bousfield (Knoxville, TN United States)
My son loves his 'birds'. The music lasts longer than most baby lullaby mobiles and such - and gives your child longer to fall asleep. It has 3 songs, womb noises and bird tweets, or just bird tweets. It has 3 settings including just music without lights, music with lighted birds moving, and music with a lighted ceiling display. Now that my son is older he can turn it on or off by pressing the blue bird, he can stand up and switch the songs and the settings. He loves it and it's worth every penny and more! It has 4 D batteries so get rechargeables and have 2 sets to swap in and out. And pull out the white cords that go under the batteries for supposed easy release of batteries; the back doesn't close with them under the batteries and my son pulled out one white cord and could have tried to swallow it!
