This was our son's first truck. We bought this on a whim and he hasn't stopped playing with it since. I really don't think it is dangerous at all. The only bad thing about this toy is the amount of noise it makes. Well worth it when we see how happy it makes him! It has been his favorite toy for well over a year.

Bought this for my 2 yr old son. He loves it! He loves to put stuff inside the drum and then dump it out. Perfect toy for him!

Even though this toy is cute and colorful my son does not play with it because as soon as he touches it the back tips over. Which makes pushing it around difficult. He does however really like the balls and I find him playing with them often.

My grandson loves this. It is still in good shape after he has stepped on, dropped and thrown.

The dump part is just way too tippy.
Just today, my son barely touched it, and it dumped over and bumped him in the nose making him cry. It was way too tippy when we played with it together for me to tip it to dump out the balls, because it has nothing trying to hold it up, and it just crashes down hard. We still had fun, because I could spin it and wheel it around, and he liked that. Now that he is sitting on his own, he could play with it on his own, but obviously he isn't as careful or co-ordinated as me, so I found out that it is too tippy even when spinning the back or reaching in for the balls. Without even trying to tip it, it dumps down hard. If you move it less than a centimeter, it's so top heavy that it'll fall down--and it is pretty heavy. It would be much, much better if the dump feature could be locked off, but it can't, and I don't see anyway for me to tie it up myself. I have to put it away, and I'll try again in several months.
Otherwise, it's also pretty heavy and big for a six month old, even without the risk from the dump feature.
I like that the wheels click and that the eyes move up and down when it wheels. The spinning feature is fun and easy to do (even for my 7.5 month old). The ball are too big for him to pick up, but he can hold them with two hands if I give one too him. They rattle too.
This might be ok for a kid over 1 year, but it would still be dangerous, and the dump feature is just way too top heavy.
