I do not understand the many stars this product is getting. It is not safe for any age.

1. Infants: it promotes torticolis and plagiocephaly

2. Babies just starting to sit up: unsafe because of falling forward

3. Older babies: too flimsy to be safe

The pictures of babies sleeping in this product are very deceiving and should be removed. Never put your baby to sleep in this, unless you want to deal with torticolis and plagiocephaly later on. Please do not put your baby for any longer than a few minutes in this...

This chair has been passed on from cousin to cousin in my husband's family. The children (2-3) are always trying to get the chair before the others can take it from them. My son loves this however he is 8 months, and he can turn around in the chair while he is strapped in. So you just have to be careful and be in the room with him at all times. Otherwise it is great. My oldest, who is 5 years old, likes to push his brother around in the chair. We have tiled floor everywhere within the house. It becomes a game to them. ;)

I bought this based on the ability to use for more than the first year. As a BTDT mom I did not want something I would not use after the first year max. I know this is the last baby, so no reason to keep. I like that it says weight limit of 40 pounds when it goes to the rocker chair, my 8 year is only 50, so I am thinking I will get close to 7 years at least out of this thing. She loves it already.
