My son really liked the phone but ;the cord is quite short (being long is dangerous but being too short prevents the baby pick up the phone properly like an adult)and the receiver is quite hard to pick up.

This is really a cute toy. Our little girl is so engaged with all the sounds it makes when she pushes all the buttons and how the phone "talks" to her with its moving mouth. It is quite educational, too, as it says all the numbers and shapes out loud as you push them. And if you put the receiver on the hook, the phone will actually ring as if to say "come play with me". Our daughter has really enjoyed this toy. The only drawback to this toy is that the string that connects the receiver to the phone is way too short so the baby can't actually put the phone up to her ear and pretend to talk on the phone. Some would probably say that it would be a strangulation hazard, but if that's the case, then why is the "pull along" string so long? Other than that, adorable little toy.
