I bought all different flow levels of the MAM UltiVent nipples for my breastfeed baby. She took to them very well. It's challenging when you breastfeed too and I think the shape of these nipples was perfect in transitioning between. I had to throw out all other nipples, as she would only drink from a bottle using these.

My sister really loves these nipples. These nipples, as well as many other items, including the bottles, were a baby shower gift from me and she absolutely adores these. She prefers these over any other brand of nipples, as well as the bottles for these nipples. She wouldn't know what to do without them. Since my daughter recently turned four months old, I figured she would probably be ready for a nipple with a faster flow. However, these were WAY too fast for her. Almost as soon as the bottle went into her mouth she started to choke a little bit because it was just too much. So while she seems to really like the Stage 1 nipples, these are still just a bit to fast for her. I do use them when I give her bottles with cereal in them though becuase the milk is thicker and doesn't come out as fast.

After trying other brands and formats, these are the only nipples my breastfed baby would accept. They work really well with breastmilk, because of their shape and slow flow.

I use these nipples mostly with my Avent bottles, on which they fit perfectly.

Had I not bought the Avent bottles before I came across these nipples, I would certainly have bought the MAM bottles (Sassy Baby's Mam 9 oz. Boy 3 pack Bottle). Their anti-colic system is great: simple and effective. Plus, they're BPA-free.

I bought these to go with the bottles. I wish I didn't have to buy them separately. My 3 1/2 month old easily made the transition from the Dr. Browns (which contain bpa) to the MAM. I meant to give this a 4 star rating because the nipples are sold in packages of 2 while the bottles are sold in packages of 3. That is inconvenient.

Note to buyers the nipple is NEWBORN size not BABY size. For us MAM users we know the differences. For those who don't the NEWBORN size is small and short and the BABY size is bigger and longer. But still it does the job my girl can drink faster and I can add cereal without the nipple clogging. Over all will recommend. NEWBORN = made for babies 0+6 months BABY = made for 6 months + over."

Our daughter got to where she was sucking really hard on the regular flow nipples, and making this awful sound, not to mention kicking her feet...so we found these and they were the perfect solution. These nipples would NOT be a good idea for a baby who is both breastfed and bottle-fed, but since our daughter is now exclusively bottlefed (foster-adoptive) they are fine.

We have invested in born free and sassy mam. Now that he is 7 months, we are fedup witht he born free level 3 since it is very soft and my son rejects milk or formula. So even thought it may not be BPA free we are going to Mam since it works. We use it with born free bottles also.

My son has the MAM pacifiers and took to these nipples immediately. We'd been using Avent until I heard about BPA and switched to Sassy BPA free bottles. My only complaint is that the 'lip' that that holds the nipple inside the ring isn't big enough and sometimes causes leaks.
