 "Musical Mirror" 2009-06-24

Would have appreciated a side or back view of this item. When I received it I had no idea how bulky it was. It's too heavy to hang on the car seat or stroller visor. I just hook it up to the headrest instead. She does like it and will smile into the mirror when I hold it up.

 "Easily broken" 2009-04-05
By Sara K. Seikkul (Minneapolis MN USA)
Normally I love Fisher Price, but this isn't one of their items I love. I bought one on Amazon, then the next day found it at Target on clearance for $5, when on Amazon it was almost $16. I was planning on returning it anyway, but then when I got it I figured, why bother with the return, I can keep on on the stroller, one at home for his "sitting" toys, because it was really cute. First, we went for a walk, toy attatched to stroller, and he pulled on the monkey. The whole toy came off of the ring, and bonked him right on the head. It's a pretty heavy toy, with batteries in it, so after I calmed down a screaming 5 month old, we went back into the house. I figured OK, one bad one, now it's worth it to send it back. Then I was playing with the baby, holding the toy, and the SAME thing happened! No head bonks this time, since it was at chest level. My baby isn't an abnormally strong child, this toy just come apart. The ring is attatched to the toy by a nylon cord, and part of it is supposed to stay open to keep it attatched, but it's really easy even for me to pull it apart. NOT SAFE

 "great take-a-long swing" 2009-11-18
By nutznboltz (eastern seaboard)
I purchased this and found that the swing speeds are all strong and differentiated.......not as some described their swing with no speed.

In fact, our baby didn't care for the top speed!

It is very sturdy, good-looking and wonderful to take along.

 "Great little swing!" 2009-11-16
By Derek O. Colvin
This swing is very easy to use and very comforting for baby. I love that I can take it around the house. I live in a small apartment and this swing doesn't take up very much room. The battery life has lasted long too-I've used it once a day for over a month and haven't had any battery life problems. The color is really nice because I can use it for a boy or a girl if I have more kids. I love this swing.

"Great, for a small travel swing - and the cutest out there!" 2009-09-26
By slackermom (albuquerque, nm)
This is a no-frills, basic, travel swing and sure, a few things would be nice, like a tray or a bar with hanging toys from it but this pattern is the absolute cutest that fisher price makes and for whatever reason, they felt like this particular model should be as basic as possible. I'm not going to give it a lower rating because of that, and everything else considered, it's great! It fits in our small living room, it's perfect for when I have to put the baby down for a few minutes but don't want him on the floor, and he's the right height for getting a good view of his big brothers playing next to him. I love how high the seat back is, and how deep the seat bottom is. The belt holds him much more securely than his bouncer seat strap did. The seat could recline some, but when he's fallen asleep, he's been comfortable and his head doesn't flop forward or off to the side. I might be nervous putting a newborn in this because of the lack of recline but I don't tend to put my babies down when they're that tiny and didn't even buy this until my son was over three months old, so it wasn't an issue for me.

"Very glad I bought this" 2009-06-12
By G. Martiny
I bought this on a whim for my 5-month old. He's carried ALOT and doesn't like to fall sleep on his own but after 10 minutes in this swing he was out! I love that it folds up and is so portable, I take it outside so I can play with my 4-year old and the baby can see us and nap if he wants to.

We will take this on vacation in a couple of weeks and I'm sure we'll get more use out of it then.

"Great swing without all the bells and whistles" 2009-06-11
By L. Smith (Albuquerque, NM)
I just bought this swing for my 3 mo. old granddaughter. I agree with previous writers that the speed is pretty much the same on all settings. A very slow speed would have been ideal. So far I am happy with the purchase since my granddaughter is sound asleep in the swing and that's what I was hoping for! I like how compact the swing is too. I will update my review of this item down the road.
