"has stood the test of time" 2009-12-18
By M. Robles (Norfolk, VA, USA)
My kids have had this toy for at least two years and it's still one of their favorites. I was looking for it as a gift now for my nephew and thought I'd leave a review. So many tub toys are the same 'ol, same 'ol...this is one of those that's NOT. It's held up great, even after being sanitized in a bleach solution several times. No mold, no fading, no cracks or missing pieces. Love it!

"My 2 year old loves these bath toys!" 2008-06-28
By Tracy Walton (Minnesota)
My daughter received these as a birthday gift in December 2006 and in June 2008 they are still in excellent shape. They are very durable and the suction cup on the cup stand is very strong. They're inexpensive and they don't get mildewy or gross in the tub or shower. I'd recommend them to the Pooh fan in your house or as a great gift for any little one who enjoys their tub time.

 "great value" 2009-12-18
By Lacey (AUSTIN, TX USA)
While I've only had personal experience with one other tub (1st years sure comfort), I highly recommend this tub if you are looking for a tub with a great price.

I love that the middle stopper (for use with an infant) is removable so when your child is able to sit up on their own they have plenty of room to sit comfortably.

 "picky mom fully satisfied" 2009-12-17
By lainibug (Nashville, TN)
This is one of those items that most people are going to review without having used an alternate product. That's true for me as well. But I can say this: I'm one of those new moms who scoured reviews and Consumer Reports to pick what to register for. I'd picked another tub that looked more sophisticated I guess, then ending up registering for this one since it was available at a certain store where it seemed ALL of my shower guests wanted to shop. And I've been totally happy with it.

It's worked great for our baby since the time the cord fell off and he was allowed to get wet. And it seems like it will grow with him well. The green insert that he sits on is smart; it comes out to make room for a growing toddler. The little whale shaped cup that comes with it is a cute bonus. It has holes to sprinkle; that's a little annoying now if I want to use it to rinse him, but will be fun later as he learns to play with it.

Our baby feels secure and enjoys baths, I feel he's safe in it (always supervised of course!), we've had no issues with it staying clean, the holds water and then drains well, no issues with the legs being sturdy... all in all, can't think of anything I'd change.

"Be careful during assembly... wobbly legs!" 2009-12-17
By Sarah K (Brooklyn Park, MN USA)
I think this tub would be fine if the legs had screwed in properly. For one thing, you need a standard looong screwdriver... we only had a shorter interchangeable one that came in a toolkit and it could not reach. The biggest problem was that even when screwed in, the legs were still wobbly. So, we tightened the screws a bit more, and then a bit more, and then it broke... the leg broke off and when we turned the tub over, the screw had started to come through the plastic of the tub. The directions DO say not to overtighten, but with the legs so unstable, I didn't think it was safely tightened enough!

So, just beware that this could happen, and perhaps your experience with the tub will be great! I plan on calling Fisher-Price to see if I can get a replacement or a certificate for a different style tub.

Good luck!

 "Great Tub" 2009-09-15
By BigBoy (LA, CA USA)
Great to use. my kid then 3 weeks old now 8 weeks still love taking a bath. I know he's comfortable because he's all smiles and would kick his feet around as if he was swimming. Before getting this tub giving a bath was 2 people effort but now 1 person can easily do it.

The green piece in the middle of the tub can be removed when the kid gets older.

"this tub is the ONE!" 2009-08-02
By Kate Blue (The Grand South)
Save yourself the time and energy looking for a baby bath tub and head straight for this one. I'm so happy with this tub that I find myself making more time for bath time with my baby! First of all, it's just so darn cute. But seriously, here are my top reasons for loving this tub:

1) For the infant stage, no sling to mess with. Although a sling sounds nice and hammocky, you won't miss it. Sling issues from my experience include sagging, baby suspended over the nice warm water, not actually in it! Hard bumps for baby's tender back or bottom. None of those issues here!

Instead of the sling, it's much simpler...baby's back rests against the soft, oval padding you see in the picture. Baby is kept from sliding down into the tub by a removable ledge, which leaves more of baby actually comfortable and IN the water with legs free to move and kick, which makes bath time more fun and enjoyable! By the way, it will take a little muscle power (not a bad thing) to remove the ledge when baby can sit up.

2) For the 6+ months stage or when baby is sitting up, remove the ledge you have a basin large enough for baby to sit comfortably and play without knees knocking against the edges, yet it's not so large that it takes up too much space or baby feels insecure. I also like the depth. It can be filled with enough water without having to be filled to the brim.

3) It comes with a perfect little accessory: a baby whale strainer that is (a) cute, (b) functional, (c) fun toy. First of all, this baby whale is just adorable. Secondly, it's very useful during the infant stage, especially if you're not using the kitchen sink sprayer. Simply scoop up water and allow it to flow through the strain holes to rinse baby or tickle baby. Lastly, when baby starts grabbing, it becomes FUN for him or her. Curiosity, cause and effect, those lightbulb moment looks. Just priceless, and again it's so simple.

4) It fits in the kitchen sink perfectly. It also works on the counter top since it has non-skid type material underneath -still use common sense and stay beside baby & tub. It fits in the bath tub as well. So, where ever you want to use it, the tub should work.

5) Price - this tub is the best value AND quality I've found. Many other tubs cost more, but they have features that don't live up to expectations.
