 "Great Buy" 2009-10-16
By Samantha Hussnatter (Newark, Delaware)
My daughter got this when she could sit up on her own. She will be turning one soon and she loves this toy. She started by sitting in front of it playing with the piano and the little book. And when she heard the music she would dance and dance and dance... It has not become annoying like most musical toys because she is so fun to watch playing with it. Then before I knew it she was walking across the livingroom with this toy. She just motored right around. I laugh because they walk like little grandma's with walkers at first. (No offense to little grandma's. I have one that is 93 and she is the greatest.) I would totally recommend this toy to someone. Just remember never let them play near stairs with it. I know it should be a no brainer but I'm an ER nurse and trust me... I have seen it all.

By Amber Fleenor (homer, ak usa)
I have four children so I would like to think I know alil something about walkers. My daughter loves this walker, although it isnt as sturdy as some others she really enjoys it. What I reallly like is the small compact size and that the wheels are completely covered so she cannt stick her lil fingers in them and get stuck as our sons have done before haha. I would recommend this walker to anyone thinkng about buying one

 "Tips Over... Not Sturdy" 2009-08-14
By M. edwards (Charleston, SC)
This toy is great for sitting and playing.. The Pulling up and standing feature is not so great. It tips over at the slightest pull. My little girl recently just started picking it up and shoving it around since she can't pull herself up on it without having it fall on top of her. It also has speedy little wheels on it that moves faster than the baby.. one wiggle and the toy is gone leaving my baby to fall flat on her face. If you want sit-down entrainment, it's great. If you are looking for a real "pull-up" sit to stand walker. This is not the best option.

"Great toy for my little guy" 2009-01-28
By Heather A. Willis (California)
We got this for our son as a Christmas present and it is the first toy he has really played with. He loves to sit in front of it and press the buttons and roll the rattle. I can't wait to see him pushing it around when he learns how to walk...

"Cute but limited play value after first few uses and interest wanes" 2009-06-09
By Grace Melinda (Florida)
This is gadgety with the walking leash and automation, but limited in use. I bought it since I can't get a dog for my toddler, but it sits in the closet and I walk by and wonder why I bothered spending $30 plus on a toy that gets no play, live and learn. We are sold so much STUFF for KIDs on TV and as Consumers and we romanticize what we buy for at times. The real play value is with each other and interaction together more than with the toys. Back to basics is more important than forward to electronics that free us in ways and yet isolate and dictate to us more than anything. Let the children color and use playdough and read:)!

 "Not worth the money" 2009-03-11
By Wendi (Chicago, Illinois)
We ordered this for our boys for Christmas and when it arrived Pluto wouldn't walk or wag. We exchanged it and received the replacement one in January. Now after only 2 months the new one doesn't work either. My boys enjoy playing with it, but it isn't something they use every day so it hasn't had a lot of wear and tear. It's cute, but not a very well made or durable toy.

 "Doesn't hold a kids attention" 2009-12-07
By K. Amey
My son received this for Christmas last year. I really liked it and thought he could get a lot of practice writing with this as he was 3 at the time and just learning letters. He quickly got bored with it and in the past year he has played with it maybe once a month for about 5 minutes.

The concept of the toy is great it just doesn't hold the attention of an active 4, almost 5 year old.

"Good start for learning how to write." 2009-09-29
By Matthew Ditomasso
My four-year-old loved this toy at first, but he quickly got bored with it.

He will now only pick it up when challenged to write something or we coax him.

I think it is neat, and it's the most writing he has done anywhere.

 "Excellent product" 2009-07-05
By J. Wineman (Ann Arbor, MI)
This is an awesome product from Fisher-Price. My 3-year-old daughter thinks this is very fun. I love how educational it is. It shows kids the exact way to write their letters using blinking red lights. All parents should buy this for their beginning writers and it should be in schools.

 "My daughter loves this!!!" 2009-06-24
By R. Tackitt (USA)
My 4 year old got this on her birthday, she loves it so much! She gets so proud of herself when she writes one of the letters. as one of the other reviews said that the buttons on the bottom don't make sounds but there is an option on the side for letter sounds and those letter sounds match up to the pictures so the child can have a visual of the object that they are pronouncing "a says ah as in apple" As a parent i am so happy my daughter has this toy it has helped her so much with her letters and numbers!!!

Customer Buzz
 "WE love this toy!!" 2009-03-22
By Leapfrog
I had to write a review for this after I read the first bad review. We love this toy! This is more for about age 4 or 5 because little ones will just scribble on it. Little ones do seem to like to watch the light show though. Turn off the lights to the room and just watch the light show. No the manual doesn't say to use toy this way but be creative :) But for learning to write letters age it is great. The lights are a perfect speed for child to follow and this saves paper while they practice, practice. My child hums to the music that is played while tracing and waits when done for the lights to go away to view what he wrote and is very proud of what he did. It has numbers and lowercase too which covers all. Yes the pretty pictures around the desk do nothing but they are so cute to look at! My child points to each one and says the letter and what word goes with it...all the way around. Now that teaches recognition and letter order. The table top looks like you can use erasable markers on, we haven't tried. the magna doodle screen is enough for us but you could also lay a piece of paper on top and trace the lights too and then show off your letters on paper. this toy is simple enough to not be overwhelming and teaches the Basics. No it doesn't tell the child if they wrote the letter right or not but my child can tell when the lights are gone if looks right and erases and starts over for perfection if not. Sometimes a child doesn't need someone or something telling them they did it wrong or try again...us grownups get sick of that if told :) When the lights are gone and they are proud of their letter or they would like to make it look better they can. Ask your child does that look like the letter "B" when they are done a few times while you are with them and point to the picture around the desk to compare...those words will echo back in their mind when they play alone with the desk. There is enough pretty letter pictures for them to look at and tell if looks correct. Plus we want to raise self motivated children and adults don't we... I think this toy is just right for a child who is ready to draw letters! We don't want the toy to do everything for our child we just want them to be guided and learn self confidence as they practice.
