 "An active baby's dream!" 2010-01-25
By Reader (Wherever the Marine Corps takes us.)
My 5 month old LOVES this jumperoo. I bought it for him when he was 4 months old and had to put a pillow under his feet so he could stand (he's in the 95th percentile for height). No big deal, because he still loved being in it, even though he hadn't mastered the jumping part yet. Well, now he's learned to jump in it, and absolutely loves it. He has never been a baby that could just sit still in a swing or exersaucer. He HAS to be moving, and this jumperoo does the trick. Our little adrenaline junkie loves all the toys too. He loves to play with them during his jumping breaks. Finally, the music is quite enjoyable. It's not annoying like some of the other baby toys I've heard. I actually sing the songs to him all day long--they're very catchy! So far, I haven't experienced any problems with this jumperoo, and I would buy it again.

 "MA Mama" 2010-01-24
By MA Mama
This jumperoo is fantastic- there are more toys than most others, which keeps my 6 month old entertained for longer stretches of time. She particularly likes the vegetables and the hanging cow... another bonus is that out of all the baby toys that have music and songs, this jumperoo's music doesn't grate on my nerves. I actually don' mind hearing the tunes over and over and over again. I am so glad we bought this one!!

"Keeps baby entertained... for awhile at least!" 2010-01-02
By NYC Baby (Bronx, NY)
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R31EFCWUJO12T8 We have a new baby boy in the house who's 4 months old now. He loves to be held upright so he can practice standing on his chubby little legs. This Jumperoo gives him a chance to practice this some more, as well as bat his hands at different toy attachments. Sometimes he gets very excited about being in there and is happy for almost 30 minutes, other times he gets cranky much earlier. So overall, it makes for a nice addition to things to do with the infant during the day, providing him and parents some helpful and fun variety in activities.

"My baby likes the exersaucer way better" 2009-12-13
By gfvancouver
I have the evenflo exersaucer and this jumperoo. My baby loves the exersaucer way better. With the jumperoo, there are too many things going on. She is constantly bouncing up and down so she doesn't play with the toys as much. It is also harder for her to spin around in the jumperoo.

By Erika C. Hulett (MIAMI)
my 5 months old love it!, every second on it he enjoy very very much!...

I try others at 3 months but did not give him the back support that he needs at the very beginin, this one did, so we start using it early, and all brands work up to 22 pounds, so he will use it for longer... is the best toy invest that I have done so far

 "Not too loud!!" 2010-01-09
By K.D. (Boston, MA)
This little phone is simple and great for travel. My son is 7 months and he loves it. Also, a big bonus is it makes sounds but they're not crazy loud! It plays little pieces of nursery songs and makes beeping sounds. The little mirror on it isn't great as far as seeing a good reflection of himself, but he still likes it.

 "We like our hippo" 2010-01-02
By J. Eitemiller (Jessup, MD United States)
We've had our hippo for maybe a year now, and we're pleased with it. We have standard height sinks and toilets, and our 3 1/2 year old is about 36 inches tall, she has no trouble at all reaching anything. The hippo has a nice non-skid surface on top, and little non-skid pads on it's feet so it doesn't slip off the floor and our child doesn't slip off of it; it's also light enough for her to pick up and carry over to whatever she needs to reach, which is both helpful to us and makes her feel more independant, so that's good. She loves things that look like other things, so the stool with the hippo face is perfect for her. We've been really happy with it our hippo, I think I paid ten bucks for it, so I'd say it was money well spent.

 "Basic" 2009-07-17
By A's Mom (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida)
Pros: This is comfortable for my 2 year old daughter to use and, so far, seems stable and reliable. Easy to clean, good for use as a 'potty' stool.

Cons: The plastic quality was not consistent since there were some thin spots that made the stool look worn, I expected better quality from Fisher Price. It was received in dirty condition- some black scuff marks presumably from manufacturing or distribution.

Its use is limited since it is a short stool- it is good for the potty, but not high enough for reaching the sink

Customer Buzz
 "shorter than advertised" 2009-06-04

This stool is only about 7 inches high and it really doesn't help small children reach the sink or the potty. I was disappointed because I really thought it was going to be taller.

 "Cute, but too short" 2009-05-12
By Dog Walker (San Diego, CA)
Cute and very stable stool, but it's too short for use with the potty or sink even though my 2 year old is tall (36") for his age. Our old Cosco metal-rubber topped stool works best for now since we have to help our toddler up and down anyway.

 "Great Little Stool!" 2009-05-03
By Happy Mom
I purchased this for my two year old son today at Wal-Mart for $6.50! It was the last one in stock and they are no longer selling it so I got it for half price! We haven't really used it yet, other than my son sitting on it, but it looks very sturdy and has a 200lb weight limit stamped into the bottom. It has built in carry handles on the sides and four rubber non-slip feet on the bottom. The top has pretty purple rubber dots to make it non-slip and the front has an adorable printed hippo face on it. This is adorable, lightweight, and perfect for a boy or girl.

 "I love this swing" 2010-01-05
By Margaret S. Dean (Tulsa, OK United States)
This Swing is perfect for my children. My mother-in-law purchased it 3 years ago for my oldest. She wanted something that we could use at home and bring to her house when she watched him. It folds easily and fits in the trunk or backseat of my car. I'm now using it with my newborn and it is still in great condition. We take it when we are going to be at someone's house for a while and that way he doesn't have to go in his car seat when there are no free arms to hold him.

"Great portable swing, but a little flimsy." 2009-08-06
By Mom of four (Hastings, NE USA)
Swings folds up small and is great for an extra swing in the basement, but not good for newborns. The seat is very flimsy and works best for a baby at about 2 1/2 months or so. Overall, we love it though. He sleeps great in the swing. We took it to Grandma's last week and it was great to have somewhere to lay the baby. I have not replaced the batteries yet and have had it for over a month. Great value for the price.

 "Great Space Saver, Convenient" 2009-01-22
By Melissa Watson (Dallas, TX USA)
My daughter is now 9 months old, and we don't use this swing as much, but we certainly got our money's worth out of it. Living in a small space, it's perfect. It hardly takes up any floor space, which is great, and also folds up easily to be stored away. For this reason, it's also easy to move from room to room, which proved to be a great way to keep our daughter entertained and close to us. The batteries seem to have lasted us a long time. For a few of her first nights she slept in this swing for hours, when nothing else worked, and the battery life never failed us! We also did not feel like she was ever moving faster than she enjoyed, which is a problem others have experienced. This swing got us through some tough nights, and also some fun days!

"Cute for little little babies" 2008-12-08
By J. Collick (Michigan)
We got the swing as a baby shower gift, and have used it a lot for our 3 month old daughter. It swings really slowly (due to her weight), and she's still just under 12 pounds. It did work great for her when she was really little, but her head can flop over to the side, so that her ear rests on her shoulder/chest, so she's not real secure in it. We keep her propped with washcloths under the headrest to keep her little head in place if she's sleeping. It's really good with portability, and is a decent value for the price, but I'm sure there are much better/longer usability models out there...

"Great Swing for Baby Number 3!" 2008-10-13
By S. Bradley (Sykesville, MD USA)
Our old swing broke shortly after our 3rd was born. I borrowed a different version of this swing from a friend and liked it so much we bought our own. NOTE: There are two versions - one with lights, sounds and toys and one without. I bought the simpler one on purpose, in fact I was thrilled to find it. The main reason our old swing broke was because my 2 and 3 year olds were constantly playing with the light and sounds switches. They would wake the baby by turning the music up loud and the extra features made it eat batteries faster. With this swing there is nothing to attract them so they let baby swing in peace! I love how easy it is to fold it up and move it from room to room. I also really like the fabric. The open-top feature also makes getting baby into and out of the swing a breeze. The first set of batteries I put in were cheap ones and they didn't last long but brand-name batteries will last for ages. Our son loves his swing and I love knowing that it won't take up much room when it's time to put it away. Also, it's super easy to take along anywhere you need to go. I would highly recommend this swing!

 "My baby love it" 2009-12-27
By H. Richmond
We bought this mobile for my baby that is 2 months old and he loves it. The movement of the toys is not round so he has to do an effort to follow his favorite toy (the seahorse). He could spend a lot of time just seeing the movement of the toys, I recommend it.

 "A decent long distance monitor " 2009-03-08
By T.T.
This monitor works for long distances, but it's not a very user friendly monitor. My children's room is about 180 feet from ours, so tge regular monitors I tried didn't work. This Fisher-Price one does, but it also has lots of static, so every night I wage a battle between turning it up enough to hear my kids but then needing to turn it down to quiet the static. The volume dial isn't very sensitive, so it's easy to turn the monitor up too high or down too low. The green light that shows the monitor is on is very bright, so I usually throw a towel over it or the room is bathed in a green glow. All that said, though, the monitor does work over "long" distances - we've gotten it to go about 300 feet - so I'm satisfied.

"Excellent reception and easy to use!" 2008-12-12
By Shane Deichman (Portsmouth, VA USA)
We purchased the Fisher-Price Long Distance 900MHz Monitor for our new baby's room. Like all Fisher-Price products, this has very simple and durable form factors.

However, though it looks like a toy (and therefore fits right in with a small child's room), it is packed with reliable technology. The "broadcast" base has excellent gain -- we have it on a shelf *across* the room from the crib, with no loss of sound quality or coverage. The wide, flat base also doubles a large "night light" that can be turned on or off.

The single remote receiver has an integrated power and volume dial, so it is extremely easy to use. It also has a series of red LEDs that show the strength of broadcasted sounds, giving a visual as well as audio cue when the baby cries. It has a sturdy belt clip built into the casing.

Our home is brick, and our lot nearly an acre -- but the signal strength has been excellent everywhere we've taken the receiver. With four different "channels" to choose from, we have had no interference from our other wireless devices (e.g., cordless phones, network wi-fi access point, etc.).

I highly recommended this device for parents who want peace of mind, and can make-do with a single receiver.

"Battery Hog and Doesn't always turn off" 2008-11-30
By Devin
Overall, this monitor works, has good distance, etc. But it has a couple of real annoying issues. First it consumes batteries (3 AAA) as fast as my daughter consumes bottles. Generally about every 2-3 days it needs new batteries - and that's with having it plugged in most of the time. And because the battery cover is a screw, it's not easy to change. Secondly, the low battery monitor continues to go off even when the unit is turned off. So the only way to get it to stop is to remove the batteries.

I would look at another product instead.
